Details on Chinese Final Fantasy XIII version

A quick glimpse over at the Chinese Square Enix site reveals that many of Square Enix’s titles aren’t even localized in Chinese language. With the tremendous popularity of Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix decided to localize the game for Chinese audiences. Today a press release was released by Sony China to provide more details and screenshots.

The Chinese version (PS3 exclusive in China) will be released on May 27th for 1,590 TWD (Taiwan dollars) ($50/€38) alongside with 3 bundles:

Bundle 1: Dualshock 3, Final Fantasy XIII ~ Lightning Edition for 3,190 TWD ($101/€76)

  1. Final Fantasy XIII (Traditional Chinese version)
  2. Special Lightning Dualshock 3 controller. (No PS3 unit!)

 

B2

Bundle 2: Dualshock 3, Final Fantasy XIII ~ Lightning Edition Deluxe pack for 3,390 TWD ($108/€80)

  1. Final Fantasy XIII (Traditional Chinese version)
  2. Special Lightning Dualshock 3 controller.
  3. OST Excerpt with 10 tracks (Same tracks from the European Limited Edition.)
  4. Art book with CGI images
  5. Sleeve case for game
  6. Poster

Bundle 3: PS3 250GB HDD Bundle for 12,880 TWD (€307/$410)

  1. PS3 unit with 250GB HDD
  2. Final Fantasy XIII (Traditional Chinese Version)

The English and Japanese version were available on Chinese markets earlier but it’s good to know this game finally will be available for Chinese people in their native language.
